Connor and the team from Sunboost did an excellent job installing our FoxEss battery and inverter, he even set up the wifi so that all we had to do was follow the instructions in his email and set up the account. They cleaned up the garage before they left and the job was extremely professional, our thanks again to Connor and his team.

Sunboost’s FoxESS battery solution design, pricing, customer service and installation quality has been an excellent experience. It has immediately helped us get our household energy for the summer A/C season with way less cost from the grid. It’s fun seeing the daily performance live in the App.

We recently had a battery installed to add to our 6.6kw solar system. I initially wanted a 10kw battery but Ricky advised I consider a 15kw battery due to the amount of power I was exporting. Thank goodness I took his advice as the system, is performing fantastically. Since installation my consumption from the grid has dropped to zero and in fact gone into credit even with me using aircon for heating. Thank you Ricky your service was unbelievable and I highly recommend Sunboost. The installation was seem-less and in-fact the guys continued working through a thunderstorm to complete the job. Very friendly and on time. The end result is neat,compact and professional. Thank you again.

From start to finish not one problem, yes the contact is all abroad but that did not matter. Smooth as and even installed 4 weeks after asking. Thanks just need to wait and see how good the system is time will tell

Unfortunately, my experience with Sunboost was very disappointing. From the outset, there was significant pressure to commit quickly and pay a deposit, with repeated emphasis on "special pricing" that required immediate action. This created a rushed and uncomfortable sales experience. No site visit was ever conducted, yet timelines and installation commitments were made regardless. I was specifically promised installation before Christmas, but this did not eventuate. I received no proactive updates and had to chase this myself, only to be given shifting explanations such as installers being on holiday or someone being unwell. This came across as excuses rather than transparent communication. After measurements were taken, communication remained inconsistent and unclear. Follow-up was poor, responses were often abrupt, and there was little sense of accountability or customer care. Once issues arose, there was effectively no aftercare or support. For a major investment like solar, I expected honesty, proper planning, clear communication, and a professional end-to-end process. Instead, the experience felt disorganised, stressful, and lacking in transparency. I would strongly recommend others proceed with caution and ensure everything is confirmed in writing before committing.

I had an excellent experience with SunBoost solar installation company. The installation team Richard, Kuljit and Prince who came to my property were very professional, experienced, and knowledgeable, and the work was completed smoothly. Naomi was prompt and responsive in resolving the export limit issue. Larry went out of his way to answer my questions and fixed the incorrect power capacity shown on my app. I also want to thank Monica with her follow-up calls to ensure all was okay. A special mention to Ben, who has been a pillar of support throughout the entire process—always professional, helpful, prompt and supportive. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to install solar power systems or batteries. Outstanding service from start to finish!

Unfortunately, my experience in dealing with Sunboost wasn't 5 star. My purchase was 7kw panels with 30kw battery. There was a level of pressure placed on me when we were looking at purchasing a package - by this I mean I was given the old 'you need to sign and make a deposit today to get the special price' the salesperson so nicely had his supervisor agree to, just for me. When I noted I wanted to discuss it with my partner, they offered to phone him and bring him into the conversation so we could get signed up then and there. So definitely uses the urgency factor to get you to agree, no mention of a cooling off period either. To be honest, I do kind of expect that from salespeople so it wasn't overly surprising. If using Sunboost I highly recommend making the installer attend your property before attempting installation as the salespeople really have no clue of how the setup works. We started at 22 panels then it was dropped to 17, due to Sunboost not looking into Govt requirements with solar & battery setups, then when the installer arrived, he said our roof would only fit 16 so we were back and forth with having the contract changed - not a problem really but unnecessary. We sent photos via the portal of where the batteries were to be installed and that was all apparently fine and signed off, however when the installer arrived he advised the batteries could not be installed where indicated and that we had to lay a cement slab outside for the batteries to be placed on - this delayed our installation by a further 6 weeks (as well as wasted the installers time) while we sorted this out. If the installer had come to the house and checked the job site, we would have been able to sort it all out prior to the installation date and not been held up again (by again I mean first install date was a public holiday and they called us the day before to say it couldn't be done, despite apparently confirming). We specifically said we'd like to speak with the installer beforehand as we had a 2nd place the batteries could go if need be but this request was ignored resulting in the installation delay. On the day of actual installation - the installers were brilliant, professional, on time, answered any questions I had and exceeded my expectations. So far (running for 11 days) the equipment is brilliant and I'm really happy with the purchase. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking at a solar package. However, I would advise to look around and if you can get the same items elsewhere, it may save some mucking around. Now, with my experience with getting it all completed, I was still relatively happy with Sunboost and would have happily given them 4 stars..... then I received a call from Ian from Sunboost, whom I've never had any previous contact with. Started off with Ian asking questions about how happy I was with the installers etc, normal questions you'd expect after this sort of job. Ian then advised he had sent me an email with 3 links, didn't say what the links were or what they related to - just asked that I 'do him a favor' and click on the links, hit the 5 stars and submit and he'll wait on the phone while I do so. This is where I started to have a real issue with Sunboost. I looked at the email Ian had sent to me and saw they were Google and Product Review links and told him I am happy to do a review but I will do it when I'm ready and that certainly won't be while he's waiting on the phone. Again Ian asked if I'd do him a 'favor' and at least hit the first link and do it and again, he'll wait while I do so. I said no and that I was not comfortable with what he was asking and if that's all he called for then I was going to end the call. He then asked if I would commit to giving the 5 stars when I hung up. By this time I was angry and again asked if that's all he called for - he then gave me a spill about a referral bonus etc but by then I'd had enough and ended the call. If I were just rating the installers and equipment, it would be a 5 star review without question.
