I don’t often leave reviews, but when I do it’s because the customer service and quality have been exceptional and that’s exactly what I experienced with Zoran and Neil at Perth Solar Direct. From the start, they were open, honest, and patient, taking the time to explore the best solar and battery options for my new home. While I did my research and compared quotes, I quickly realised that not all companies in the solar industry live up to their promises. Some gave me incomplete information, suggested poor panel placements (like on the south side), or used pushy sales tactics. In contrast, Zoran was knowledgeable, straightforward, and genuinely focused on providing the right solution at the best price. That gave me the confidence to go ahead with them. There was a slight delay due to Synergy’s approval process for Sigenergy (outside Perth Solar Direct’s control), but this was where their service really stood out. They kept me informed, stayed true to their word, and as soon as approval came through, they went above and beyond to fast-track installation. I was expecting to wait until mid-September, but on a Monday afternoon I got a call from Neil offering installation the very next day due to a cancellation. I jumped at the chance and really appreciated their proactive approach. The installation team was professional, efficient, and the workmanship was excellent, neat, tidy, and of a very high standard. Now that the system has been running flawlessly for over a week, I’ve been enjoying monitoring my solar generation and battery usage through the app, it’s fascinating to see it all in action. Thank you, Zoran and Neil, for making the whole process such a positive experience. I had Perth Solar Direct install solar panels and a battery system last Friday, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. After using a third-party site to compare several installers, it was clear that Perth Solar Direct stood out. Zoran was excellent in helping me navigate my requirements and reach a confident decision. Aaron and his crew arrived early and stayed past 6pm to ensure everything was running perfectly and that I was completely satisfied. Their attention to detail was evident throughout the entire process. I’ve seen friends and colleagues go with what seemed like cheaper alternatives, only to end up with delays, underperforming systems, or subpar quality. I’m glad I chose a team that prioritizes quality and customer satisfaction. Neil has clearly built a top-tier team.

Very impressed with the installation service that I recieved from Perth Solar Direct. Neil's crew of installers started at 8:00 and were completely commissioned and tidied up by 3:30. Installation was 11 Kw of PV, 24 KwH Battery and 10Kw hybred invertor. My very delicate Bristile roof suffered 2 broken tiles - I was expecting major carnage.. My main switch board when the cover was removed looked llike a rats nest (the result of years of tack-ons), this was sorted and the RCD were upgraded to the latest safety standards (the RCD were an additional expense unfortunately). Nothing was to much trouble and everyone on the team seemed to know exactly what was happening next. The equipment and software fron Sigenergy is first rate - lets hope that continues well past the warranty period!

Thank you to Neil and the team at Perth Solar Direct. Recently had a Sigenergy 24kWh battery, 13.6kw PV (10kw inverter) and 7kw AC/EV charger. It's been working flawlessly since install and we won't pay energy or fuel bills again.

Why promise a battery you can’t deliver? We trusted your staff, and now the battery we paid for isn’t available. We are forced to look at completely different options — all because of your broken promises. Other companies are offering better prices and discounts, yet we are stuck paying for your mistakes. This is unacceptable. Stop misleading customers for your own benefit. Stop blaming your staff — this is your business, and you are responsible for serving and valuing your customers. Take ownership of your errors instead of passing the blame. We trusted you, and your handling of this situation is shocking and inexcusable.

I’d spoken to a few different solar companies before finding Perth Solar Direct, and honestly was left more confused than anything — each one seemed to give completely different advice. When I finally got onto Neil, it was a totally different experience. He was open, transparent, and clearly knew what he was talking about. Took the time to actually listen to my concerns and came up with a solution that made sense, without pushing for unnecessary upgrades just to close a sale. Once we moved ahead, the service was top notch — the install team were on time, worked efficiently and left everything spotless.
