STS Auto Electrics

Heading up from Geelong to Cape York and had issues with the car and caravan brake controller. Had to divert to Dubbo, rang around a number auto electricians (who were booked out weeks in advance) but Tim fit us in and found a couple of blown fuses in a tough to find location, he had us on our way with only a day delay in our trip. Many thanks to Tim and the team for accomodating us and your professional work!

Called in with a starter issue and owner walked straight past totally ignored us then when I begged for help he replied "well we have to find parts and we are busy this week" didn’t even know if we needed parts? We went around to another who found a hidden detached wire in 5 minutes and we were on the road again. Very bad service and ignorance

So happy with service we received from these guys!! We were travelling & had an issue with the electrics in our van, on day 3 of our 4 month trip. They agreed to have a look at it (even though they were clearly busy) & we lost a day of travel but they fixed all the issues plus a few we didn’t know we had.. thank you so much, got us back on the road & everything is working well. I just wanted to express my gratitude to STS electric. I had an emergency for both my car and my caravan and Tim at STS electric was there to save the day. Tim, the electrician from STS very kindly did the following jobs for me: Wired a second battery in the canopy and made sure that the fridge connected to it worked perfectly. Fitted an air compressor and a bracket that I had already provided, also connected to the second battery. Installed 2 extra Anderson plug, one red and one gray and changed a 7 pin plug to a 12 pin one and wired it correctly according to the wiring map of the caravan. In the caravan: Mounted a AC-DC charger, new wire to the batteries and trip fuses. Installed a redarc BCDC charger from his own stash and made sure it worked when connect to the car. He charged me a pitiful amount of $ 3900 for the work done. He also supplied me with an invoice that detailed all the work done and a ball park figure of 3900 dollars at the end. I was very pleased not to have a detailed invoice as I am a busy person and don’t have time to go through all the detailed expenses. All in all my experience with STS electric was a breathtaking one, unforgetful really.

Wonderful service and very helpful! Fitted us in on short notice on a busy Friday morning when our car was having issues starting. Diagnosed and fixed the same day. We are extremely grateful for y'all helping us get back on the road so quickly! Absolute legends!

I like to give them 0 rating as i gave my car to find the problem in power. Before there was no problem in VSA system but after leaving car with them VSA light is coming on and they refuse to fix now and they don’t even have the idea how to fix it.

Amazing!! AC stopped on the way to Dubbo, we were heading west the next day, and after calling around STS Auto Electrics were the only ones to offer to help at such short notice. They were friendly, helpful, efficient, great value and they got us fixed and on our way the same day. Highly recommended if you're a local or a traveler.
