Do not waste your time or your money. They don’t take responsibility for their own actions. They’ve damaged our belongings and don’t refund us back and lied about their policy as well. If I could give no star I would’ve definitely done that. Our console’s door has fully came off and they have damaged the sides as well. They also say that they don’t charge you for stairs if it’s 24 steps or less but they have charged us $150 for stairs on the day. They told us "you accepted to pay" and we are not going to refund that money while we had no choice on the day, when the guys that were dropping off our belongings were holding on to them and making us pay first before dropping them off. Don’t fall for their lies, literal scammers.

On Sunday 23rd March 2025, I used Movee for my moving needs, and it was a terrible experience. During the booking process, I was informed that securing the booking would cost $51.00, and they assured me that they had insurance to cover any potential damages. The movers arrived with a small truck and used chains to secure my items. They sent two small men, but only one of them was able to dismantle and assemble the furniture only two beds needed to be dismantled, and the other only assisted with loading and unloading. Neither of them wore safety shoes they had ripped sneakers and their hygiene was quite poor, making it uncomfortable to be around them. They rushed to finish the job as quickly as possible so they could move on to their next assignment. As a result, four of my dining chairs were damaged during the move the chain they used dug into the wood and in other chairs left a grey mark. Since that day, I was told that someone would contact me about resolving this issue, but no one has reached out. I have attempted to follow up three times, hoping to discuss compensation for the damages. Initially, they offered me $100, claiming the damages were minimal. I attempted to negotiate, suggesting that they cover the cost of two chairs while I would cover the remaining two, but they were unwilling to accommodate my request. Moreover, I was charged $1,456.40 without my consent and without receiving an invoice for the services rendered, which I consider fraud. I have requested a detailed breakdown of this charge, including the initial $51 deposit and the $1,456.40 for the move, from Matt, who identified himself as the manager, but I have yet to receive any response. I strongly advise against using Movee, as their services are unprofessional, they are unethical, and they will charge your card without providing an invoice [THEY KEEP THE CARD DETAILS]. When you reach out for assistance, they are unhelpful and unwilling to find a resolution that meets your needs.

Subcontractors be careful. We provided subcontracted services to this business and fulfilled our scope of work. Payment has been delayed for more than 3 months despite ongoing follow-ups. This is our genuine experience. Are there other subcontractors that is facing payment issues from MOVEE? We have been chasing for the payment since September, 2025 and received the below message from MOVEE on 15th November, 2025. The payment is still remains outstanding: "Your payment of $1,917.13 is currently under processing and will take 14 to 21 business days to reflect in your account."

Do not use this service under any circumstances. We are significantly inconvenienced and have incurred additional expenses. Disgraceful. MOVEE is ONLY a platform that then outsources the move to an unknown contractor. They do not take any responsibility for what happens and do not provide operational support or service. The $50 deposit fee is a money making scam. We had a move booked for an Melb city to a regional area. We took the day off work. It was confirmed by Movee representative Oliur for Dec 15th on Dec 12th. When the movers did not arrive we messaged Oliur. No response. We rang the 1300 number and got to the Movee operations manager Lisa Rankin (not sure it is actually her name) who lied and said the movers had come to the house and we weren’t there. Of course we were there. She could not provide the contact details for that mover. The number she gave me to call was for a contractor who had only just been told of the job and did not know any of the job details. After many calls she undertook to call us with a solution by 2pm but did not call. No response to any text messages. At considerable expense, we have had to rebook removalists, change clean dates and key handover. This can all be substantiated with time stamped emails and text messages.

Do not book these people. They arrived 3:5 hours late in a small truck to pack up a big house.2 small men who couldn’t life much at all. They talked too much in their own language and didn’t know what they were doing. My son in law started moving the furniture out to speed them up. When they said they didn’t have anymore room I decided that I didn’t want them to take anymore stuff and we would do it ourselves. When they took the furniture to the storage unit they were told to stack it so there was more room. I was advised that they mucked around taking one item at a time and literally threw the items in the unit. No stacking at all. It cost me $376 I was charged for one truck load, some driving time which they arrived 3:5hours late which wrecked the whole day. Best to get your own truck and do things yourself these days. I definitely will not hire them again. Too expensive, not reliable and didn’t take care of the items they were transporting. I’m glad I didn’t ask for dismantle and reassemble.

The team was a great help with our move. They were very careful with our belongings, making sure everything was placed well, carried safely, and transported with care. They handled both loading and unloading thoughtfully and with attention. It did take a bit longer for them to load everything onto the truck, and the move overall took more time than we expected, likely because they seemed a little less experienced. That said, their patience, effort, and careful approach were very much appreciated. Would still recommend them!
