To be honest, the service itself was good. The guy was polite and efficient. However, while I do accept responsibility for not thinking to ask further questions about the engraving process, I was also not told beforehand that there is only one option for the font style and size of the engraving (the process felt a bit rushed through to be honest). In the end I did not really like it, plus the wording was slightly crooked. I don’t think this service is worth it but I also did not do my due diligence so that’s on me

Been here a few times and today I walked away very happy. The armband of my Galaxy Gear made the watch keep falling off, an issue with the spring loaded pins. Paid for a new pin + install and had same issue again. Went back and the very friendly young guy instantly replaced the pin. While handing back, the *other* side came off. Without even me asking he replaced the other pin too - free of charge! I'm very impressed to see someone practising a "traditional" craft like the old days and conversely taking pride in their job in today's greed-driven corporate bs world. It's always Mr. Minit QV for me now Thank you!

My watch is out of battery, let them replace the battery. But the battery was not replaced successfully, and the bezel has fallen off and two buttons still cannot be fitted. Then call their boss, The boss told me to put my watch in their store and install it when he goes to work. I can only take my watch to the Omega store, Therefore, this is the repair report provided to me by the Omega store. The boss is not answering my phone.

I am absolutely shocked and disappointed with my experience at Mister Minit in QV. My partner took in a brand new pair of $600 leather sole dress shoes to have protective rubber soles fitted, only to find that the staff had ground down the leather sole. When questioned, they flat-out denied the shoes even had a leather sole, claiming it was just wood — which is simply untrue. These were premium shoes, purchased specifically for their leather soles, and they have now been permanently damaged. To make matters worse, the staff showed no accountability, no apology, and no offer of a refund or resolution — just denial and poor attitude. Completely unacceptable service. Do not take your shoes here unless you want them ruined.

Absolutely heartbroken that certain areas of my custom made leather heels has received aggressive indentation marks and tears on the lining of heels from stretching. Absolutely careless with no precautions. The staff ignored me while I waited to be served and show little sympathy when I asked about the damage that was made on their end with no compensation offered. Then after closer inspection at home, I realised the topy sole wasn’t done very well - new scratches have been added -removing the leather surface! I dislike writing negative reviews but must warn people! To have a pair of custom made bespoke heels made from a small business overseas then to be damaged is truly heartbreaking.

Great service, quick and were happy to adjust further at no charge after I came back as the wrist was still a bit tight later in the day.

Edit: In response to the claim that I declined an offer to test the key on my car, this is false. I did not decline any such offer. In fact, I provided the staff member with the bay number where I was parked. I waited longer than initially agreed for the staff to complete the job, but they were unable to do so due to lack of stock. This should have been checked in advance as I had organised to bring my specific model of car on that day. Yes, I did decline to return the following day because I am too busy. I had already arranged the job and set aside time on a Sunday. Furthermore, the rudeness of the staff member who served me helped me in deciding to go elsewhere. // Absolute time wasters. I organised to get my car keys cut on a Sunday. I was assured the stock would be available on this day. After dropping my keys off and waiting more than an hour, I returned to be told there was no stock and that I would have to return another day. Of course, they asked for full payment on the day because they had "already programmed the remote" despite not delivering on what they had promised. When I said I couldn't come back, they said they would get the stock from Melbourne Central if I could wait another 30 minutes. So I came back again later to be told there was no stock there either. No apologies for the inconvenience. Just handed my keys back, "Don't worry about it. No stock." Why not call Melbourne Central from the desk rather than waste more of my time? Unprofessional and unreliable.
