GCR Solar Hervey Bay

I recently had GCR Electrical fit a PV system and two Tesla Powerwall 3’s at my home. From the quotation process right through to completion, the team were professional, reliable, and happy to accommodate any requests throughout the installation. There communication is exceptional and I’d happily recommend them to anyone looking to install solar or home batteries in the Wide Bay area.

Really impressed with the service we received with this company - before, during and post installation. To start with, like most people we were trying to figure out how much solar and what brands to go for. We were asked to schedule a meeting with Gary. During the meeting Gary patiently went through all our questions and answered them intelligently. The difference between this company and the others we visited is that we were talking to an electrical engineer. Some of the other companies we had to speak to sales people who couldn’t answer some of our more technical questions. In addition, there was no upsell with GCR. Post installation , we had a few questions and they were promptly answered by Christabella and the other team members. Overall very happy with the service.

GCR Solar Hervey Bay have excellent staff who are friendly, knowledgeable and highly experienced with solar systems. A very good outcome due to Gary, Rick, Cory and Chris due to their dedication. Rick’s advice is invaluable as his explanation and advice changed the layout of the system from the one I had decided upon. Rick showed the size and location of the battery stack and how it would sit in the garage. The actual components allowed visually seeing the layout, where simple measurements don’t really convey the full picture . The original location I wanted to use was outside but Rick’s efforts showed that the final location in the garage was the best . The battery stack was narrower than anticipated when actually installed. The system has not encroached on our narrow garage space and it is out of the weather and very easy to check and access. Had Solar Battery and extra solar panels installed by Gary and his team after they installed solar about 5 years ago. Both jobs were excellent. They arrive promptly are very professional and their workmanship, knowledge and quality products cannot be faulted. Excellent value and service.

The boys arrived on time this morning at 7.30am and completed the entire install by 2.30pm. All packed up and tidied up. They worked tirelessly to complete all the necessary works from box upgrade, operating system install, rails and panels..All completed in 7 hours flat. Special mention to young man Chris who worked tirelessly all day on the roof in the hot sun. Never stopped for food, water or to check his phone.. You young man are an exceptional worker and you deserve a 6 pack for your effort today.. The entire team collaborated well and the job is seamless.. I'm beyond stoked with my new system and cannot wait to be able to offer GCR Electrical more work or referrals in the future.. Way to go team..Thank you. Roxanne.

Realized that our solar system was not working properly and we were only getting half the generated power we used to get. Our original installer has closed so I contacted GCR on recommendation. GCR arranged to send an electrician within a couple of days and kept me fully informed of when he would arrive. They have one of the best messaging systems I have seen. He arrived right on time and found the problem, a burnt-out circuit breaker. He had to go back to get a new part, I even got a message of when he was arriving back All fixed and back operating as it should. In future I will get them to regularly check and service our system.
