Avoid Sunboost at all costs — their installation almost burned down my house, and the aftermath was worse. Sunboost installed a solar system at my home that literally caught fire. I discovered the issue by chance before moving in — the DC isolators next to my front door were melted, charred, and had burned through the weatherboards. A few more hours and it could have been a full-scale house fire. The danger was real, and it was caused by their installer. Not a product fault — a documented installation fault they admitted to in writing and over the phone. While they replaced the faulty isolators, they refused to fix the fire damage to the front of my house. Instead, they dragged things out for over three months, ignored my requests, and tried to force a completely unqualified, unknown painter with no website or reviews onto my property to paint over it. Even after I provided four quotes from licensed, reputable painting companies with excellent reviews. Quality is not something they are interested in or even good at it seems. Their internal communication was a mess. They first admitted it was their fault, then tried to backtrack and rewrite their own records. They refused to accept any responsibility for restoring the damage properly and repeatedly tried to "patch" over it instead of restoring my home to pre-fire condition. They don’t care about accountability, safety, or basic customer service. I’ve since lodged complaints with NSW Fair Trading, the Clean Energy Regulator, and Solar Accreditation Australia, and will be taking it further via NCAT if need be. If you value your home, your time, and your sanity go elsewhere.

Just had my Sigenergy home batteries installed, the technician said he has not installed a Sigenergy before but he got it working on the same day, it all seems OK so far. There are a lot of way cheaper batteries on the market but I went with the recommendations and paid more for safety and quality. The sales representatives gave me a good deal.

After the installation I had to get the roof sealed, painters to repair the ceiling from water damage and an electrician to make the electrical board safe again. They are absolute cowboys. Check out the wiring into the block. $2200 to fix this and make safe.

Grant was super helpful in assisting on a Saturday afternoon with my hot water system that was incorrectly connected after an other company installed a solar a battery. Grant has arranged an electrician to visit within half an hour and he kindly followed up and checked in with me on the following Monday. Even though I wasn't their customer , Grant had done his very best to look after me, which was crucial as the property operates an an Airbnb, running fully booked in the current holiday season.
