ADT Security Brisbane

Recently ADT changed the 3G system to a 4G system with an IQ panel from Johnson Controls and it works only 3 weeks. Now it is completely broken, the panel is not even powering up the battery backup is also not working. When I call ADT, they are telling stories, they don’t have any clue when the parts are going to arrive. We have paid $900 +. Stay away from this panel

ADT was recommended to us by friends. Travis sold our home system to us and was very pleasant and thorough and patient explaining everything - and we had a lot of questions! Peter and Jamie installed the system without any problems. Two very nice young men who arrived promptly at the appointed time. They obviously knew what they were doing and explained the system very clearly. They worked hard for 7 hours and we were very impressed with them! We're also impressed with the clarity of the cameras and the systems are very easy to use. I love that I can control everything through my phone! I would recommend ADT.

My IQ security panel died again over the weekend for the third time this year. I’m sick of being left without an alarm weeks on end each time this happens - it’s unacceptable after having to pay over $700+ for the new 4G panel and an additional $500+ to replace two smoke detectors - this is a terrible and highly unreliable system. Our insurance premiums are based on back to base monitoring. I’ve been with ADT for approx 10 years and the new systems that you force people to upgrade too are faulty and leaving people at risk. Respond to my complaint that I put through your website over the weekend. I cannot recommend this company or their products to anyone. Stay clear and keep looking for a better company.

This company were incorrectly sent $1300 from me and have refused to send it back with their company staff repeated lying for a year about sending the money back. Stay well away from them.

I can safely say I have never been dealt with by a service company as poorly as ADT. When I rang to get a system check which I had been promised 3 years ago the first thing they did was sell me an increased monthly monitoring charge telling me prices where going up and this was a deal. Then they sent me out a technician who told me my system hadn’t been working for a long time so basically ADT have been collecting money for a service they weren’t providing and then had the cheek to increase that charge. Finally they call me to upgrade my system, one they should have upgraded years ago, and the sales rep was the rudest man I have ever spoken to. I would strongly advise against ever using this company.

I have been an ADT customer for many years now. It was a no brainer to get ADT to do a new install for alarm monitoring and cameras for my new house. I have always received fantastic service however was very impressed with ADT and Travis when he came out to inspect the property. He was prompt, very pleasant and understood what I wanted to install. They were able to give me an instant price which was very reasonable. I would have no issues recommending this company. Whenever we have had a monitoring issue or query it has also been rectified. Great company with friendly service.

I recently had an ADT security system installed and the team made the entire process easy and were very prompt with installing the system. Travis came to our home for the initial consultation and was very thorough in explaining how the system works and helped mapped out where the sensors would be most effective in our home. He was very friendly and was more than happy to answer any questions we had! The installation was prompt only a day later and Beau was exceptionally professional with installation and took the time to fully explain the system to us and demonstrate to us how to use it in a practical sense. He worked with us to ensure we were able to put the sensors in the best locations and was very helpful throughout the whole process making the experience enjoyable as a whole! I would recommend ADT to anyone considering installing a security system!
