Tech support is purely call your installer, we don't know anything about our products! I just wanted to know how to download a recorded video and was told you can't. Well what is the point? Useless garbage!

Good luck getting technical support! Sent an enquiry through the website supposedly for the AU division, only to be told "we don’t sell to Oceana directly." My enquiry wasn't even about sales, it was about technical support. What’s the point of having an "AU" division to contact if you get met with this reply? My enquiry was about functionality on the HiLook app for controlling the features on our camera. We have the motion detector surveillance announcement, and I want the ability to turn this on and off (don’t need our guests yelled at every time they walk in the driveway!). But only ONE app administrator in your household gets this, such a silly configuration! I asked to see if I can get this feature added on to my login but was given the useless answer of "we don’t sell to Oceana, contact your distributor for support". As though the company who installed our system is going to be the one developing the app! I replied reiterating why I needed support directly from the developers, and got the exact same copy-paste reply. So useless.
Tech support from Kat and Wayne from hikvision are always very quick and very helpful, they have resolved 100% of the issues I have had. Good product and great support team
Can't understand why my many requests for technical support from Hikvision just get ignored. Spoke to a CCTV installer who advised me 'if your enquiry isn't for a new sale, they aren't interested in helping you' this is a pathetic stance. I spent a lot of money on my system and there is zero support. From what I've read online if you are in the UK or US they are more than willing to help, here....nothing.
