We had two security screens installed on our internal balcony in a Gold Coast High Rise that would keep our cats safely inside our apartment while allowing us to access the breezes and keep insects out. I sent an online enquiry to Gold Coast Security Screens on January 10th, 2025 with details of what I required and received an automated email back stating "We will be in contact with you as soon as we can" I never heard back and after waiting so long for another company to also get back to me, I rang GCSS on February 4th and booked in for an in home quote on the 6th. Clint came out and after telling him the last screen company hadn’t sent me my quote, he told me he’d have mine to me the next day. Ok so lovely guy, had a bit of a chin wag with him that day but come the 13th Feb and STILL no quote! I rang to find out where my quote was???? Apologies by the lady who answered the call, she said she’d get him to send me the quote ASAP and didn’t know why it hadn’t been done? Fast forward to today, yet ANOTHER week later, 20th February and STILL NO QUOTE! I give up! I shouldn’t have to chase this up and although they have great reviews, I’d be very wary that the job would be done when I’m not even receiving a simple QUOTE???? There is so much incompetence in this world and I’m afraid that Gold Coast Security Screens have joined that category. Very disappointed that I’ve had my time wasted…maybe a $3000 job isn’t worth it to him ‍♀️

We arranged for GCSS to come and see us regarding a quote for a new security screen door and after going through the details with Clint who was very knowledgeable on the products they were providing we decided to proceed with our purchase, we also found that Kelli was also a pleasure to deal with on the administration side of the business. Our new security screen door has been installed and we are extremely happy with the finished product.
