SECTA Training Academy

Just completed security course and it was so much more then I thought. Please keep in mind I have not had any schooling, courses etc for 36years. So yes I did find it tough but very rewarding at the end. Secta delivered 2 very experienced teachers (Dave and Bianca) both very knowledgeable but also very different in teaching styles. Dave was tough, no nonsense and he will tell you he will not spoon feed you. His class is not for the light hearted people BUT his main goal is to teach us the best way he knows and prepare us for the unexpected. He really does make you think. Bianca is a lady that has many years experience in this business. She might be only 5foot something but I wouldn’t underestimate her. Shes very approachable but at the same time she’s firm and also expects the best from her class. The impression I got was that they both care about their job and more so the experiences they pass on. Ideally I would have liked to have 1 teacher for the 2 weeks and either teacher would have been fine but I am very thankful to them both. Kindest regards Bravo 1 Alpha 6

I recently completed the security course at SECTA and satisfied with the experience. I want to thank all the instructors specially to Bianca Pelle who was exceptionally helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. Her teaching style made the content easy to understand and her passion for the industry was truly motivating. Also thanks to lovely Charlene at reception. Such a great course and even better lecturer - David Ord. David and his team were super helpful and necessary through the whole course. Dave's style of teaching is raw however much needed. I had a great experience completing my Certificate II in Security Operations here. The admin staff were friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. Our instructor, Dave Ord, was incredibly knowledgeable and brought a wealth of real-world experience to the course. I especially enjoyed analysing past cases and gaining a deeper understanding of how different situations are handled in the field. I had an excellent experience at SECTA Training Academy while completing my Certificate II in Security Operations. The training was professional, well-organized, and very practical. A special shoutout to Instructor John – he is honestly one of the best trainers I’ve ever had. From start to finish my experience with SECTA was brilliant. Every one was professional,accommodating and provided everything I needed to complete my Certificate II in Security Operations with ease. In particular I want to thank Dave.His vast knowledge across all aspects of the law,policing and security opened my eyes to things I'd never have considered before. His teaching style not only reinforced the importance of the learning material but by also giving examples of his own lived experiences,it helped me gain a deeper understanding of the industry,the law and the world around us in general.
