Terrible. Damaged my home, and left a plaster bog in my living room without painting over it or returning it to its original condition. Mostly apprentices attempted to fix my roof-mounted tank and solar hot water back-up system for my wood-fired hydronic system, and left it worse off than it was. It was clearly evident to me that they had no idea about the complexities of a hydronic system. When I reached out to suggest that the tank was leaking, I was informed that the tank had already ruptured. Alex sent the apprentice, the float had fallen off the ball-valve, and I had spent almost $2,000 on repairing the roof-mounted stuff, only to be told it was already screwed. I obtained an independent review of the works, including when the rupture may have occurred, and it was opined that the works I paid for would do nothing to fix the problem I had, effectively summarising that I had wasted thousands of dollars. I then had to pay upwards of $7,000 to switch over the wood-fired system to a bottled gas boiler system. Once completed Alex high-tailed it and we were never shown how to operate it, what to do to change over bottles, etc. There was also a small gas leak detected. Then they expected to be paid without actually handing the system over to us. Future works I have had done on my home regarding gas and water matters have been done by other plumbers without any issues.

Alex and his team were a pleasure to deal with. Replacing our gas hot water boiler and flushing and replacing the manifold on our hydronic system. Everything smoothly executed. Happy to recommend.

I've used GEM multiple times in the last few years, to repair our Hydronic boiler, to fix outdoor plumbing and draining issues (downpipes, gutters, squashed pipes underground, and other pipe damage) and to install aggi drains around out property. They are always professional, on time, and reliable. They install and fix issues with quality workmanship and great communication. Alex and Ben were fantastic working on our aggis and broken pipes at the beginning of the year, and left the property clean. We haven't had flooding issues since they were here, and there's been a lot of rain! I can't recommend them highly enough. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. So great to find an honest, reliable, and friendly plumber!

I had Alex come and quote to fix an issue with my aggy drain. He was great to deal with. He correctly identified the problem and delivered a price that was much lower than expected. The work he and his guys did was first rate. Highly recommended.

I required a the water supply from the house to be reconnected either via a new copper pipe installation or accessing the original connection under a new retaining wall. Alex did everything that he committed to. The service was efficient, affordable and friendly and I never had to follow him up. Thank you so much.
