Bugs for Bugs

As a keen gardener, one of my favorite shrubs is the Brugmansia ('Angel Trumpet'). I've been growing them in my gardens for about 15 years in Queensland. However, as most people who grow them know, they are plagued by red spider mites. Spider mites are sap suckers that make Brugmansia look stressed, sickly and ugly. Over the years I'd tried every commercial treatment on the market, and every home remedy. NOTHING worked and my Brugmansia's would sometimes die because the infestations were so bad. Eventually a nursery suggested I try 'Bugs for Bugs'. I bought 'Californicus' in a tube of 10,000 bugs and sprinkled them on my plants. Literally within days my Brugmansia were in full health, with zero signs of any spider mites. Even after extremely heavy rainfall a few days after application. It's been about 18 months since I bought one application of Californicus and there has been zero signs of spider mites on any of my approximately 10 Brugmansia shrubs. Also, one tube, 10,000 bugs is MORE than enough, but that's the smallest quantity available. I rave about how effective this treatment was, especially after all the money I'd wasted on commercial insecticides, oils, washes and even systemic soil tablets. If you have red spider mites on any plants (they commonly and rapidly kill indoor plants), this is the ONLY treatment you will ever need.

We had a severe papaya mealybug infestation in our large frangipani tree in inner suburban Brisbane. We had so many mealybugs that they were raining down all over, getting all over anything that went under the tree and the secretions they create were coating everything in black sticky gunk. We ordered a couple of rounds of lacewings and cryptolaemus to fight the bugs, despite being somewhat sceptical that it would help. The bugs were well packed and arrived quickly. The results are astonishing - the tree (and neighbouring trees) are now completely free of mealybugs. The second round of insects really worked so well and now the tree is looking its old self again. We never thought we'd be rid of them. Cannot recommend Bugs for Bugs enough.

Super happy with my dealing with bugs for bugs. Product was posted quickly to WA (used courier and it took 3 days) and I’m already seeing results on my garden. Much fewer white flies and caterpillars in only a few days. I’ll definitely never use pesticides again, so pleased with the outcome here.

Lady beetles arrived fit and healthy and headed straight for the aphid infested rose bush. Let’s hope they stick around free feeding and repopulate the local area and have a feast on pests

I have so much love for bugs for bugs. Have been using their products for several years and always with great success. Supportive customer service, fast shipping, and the first time I saw an adult lacewing from one of my releases was a real treat! I've also found further generations have successfully reestablished after releases, these are very hardy little bugs. I had a Wooly Aphid problem on my apple trees that I have tried numerous times to fix, lots of different ways. After hearing about bugsforbugs I bought some lacewings, however the first batch didn't work. I suspect it was because I didn't put them in (breathable bags). After some great advice from bugsforbugs I bought another batch and they did the job admirably. Definitely will use them again if needed in the future.
