If you choose this company you need to ASSUME your furniture will be damaged and get INSURANCE. When we inspected our furniture days after moving a lot of it had damage from where it had been secured in the truck. Admittedly it was the cheaper furniture made from plywood, plastic or MDF, like the kids Toy kitchen. When I added up the damage though it was worth hundreds of dollars. We also had water damage on our mattress because the contents got wet in the truck when it rained. When you contact the company they write if off saying you should have insurance. My mistake was assuming a furniture removalist would do their job professionally. The removalists were very friendly and put you at ease, but if you choose them I would recommend to stand and INSPECT every item as it comes off the truck and take the CASH they offer you on the spot for the damage.

Michael and Jason arrived early and worked very hard to move my mum's furniture. We were very impressed with the care they took loading and unloading the furniture not to do any damage. They did not waste any time at either end, completing the job quicker than we had expected. Using this company was great value without compromising service. I would use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you Moving Homes.

Thanks Moving Home for a trouble free move. Jason and Daniel arrived when they said they would, even called ahead to let me know they were on their way. Nothing was too much trouble for them and everything arrived at the new house safe and sound. Moving is never fun, but these guys were happy, friendly and just got on with it to get the job done - even when it meant taking doors off to get he fridge and washing machine in - no problems.

STAY AWAY from Moving Home Geelong! I wish I read other people's comments before I booked and I wish I could give ZERO star for this company! The whole experience was absolutely TERRIBLE! It was definitely the worst moving experience that I have ever had in my life! On the confirmed date, I was waiting for my furniture but no one showed up during the scheduled time. I called them and the owner (Danielle) said she will talk to the drivers and call back but actually she never called back. I called them back by myself after waiting for an hour and another person told me that my booking was NOT put into actual run sheet. After several calls back, that person finally booked me in the next day. So I slept on the sofa on that night as I moved into my new flat and got no furniture to be delivered. The next day, the movers finally came. But the two movers had NO experience of assembling furniture. I made my requirement very clear when I confirmed the booking. They took an hour just for a bed assembly. I still had a study desk to assemble. But they said it was too complicated and it would take probably three hours more to finish! So I assembled the desk by myself after they left. During the assembly, they took a break for 20 minutes. The money was not calculated within that break but they wasted my time for waiting for them to come back from their break. One person drunk a can of coke and left the coke inside one of the empty furniture boxes and the leftover coke was spilled inside the box. Besides, they told me they couldn't take the empty boxes back because their boss doesn't allow them to do so. So they left all the mess outside of the house. I think the removal company has the responsibility to clean the stuff after the assembly. Besides, the removal company should train their movers with relevant skills and cannot send two people with no assembly experience at all. After all was done, I was told someone will call me for the payment. After almost a week, no one called me for the payment. I sent a couple of emails with only one response saying they will get someone to call me for the payment. Not surprisingly, no one called me. I made the phone call by myself to make the payment. So finally, I paid the fee and was told I could get the receipt on the next day. But it has been two days since the payment was made and I still didn't get the receipt. I have no idea when I can get the receipt because every time I called them the owner was either saying she was busy or in an appointment and will call me back. The fact is every time she told me she will call me back, she actually never made it. Besides, the owner told me they had many receipts to process but I highly doubted what she said based on her untrustworthy behaviors along the way. I thought people shouldn't make any promise that they cannot keep. The owner is a very irresponsible person. I never thought moving furniture should be this much of troublesome. But this company made simple things so complicated and couldn't keep their promise. More importantly, the price is not cheap (129/hour+48 service fee). Again, the whole management of this business is extremely terrible. There is no customer service at all! As I just moved to Geelong and needed the furniture to be delivered on the specific date, I contacted the removal companies after I bought the furniture but all good rated ones were already booked out. You could find much professional and experienced removal company in Geelong with reasonable price so DO NOT USE THIS ONE! It is at your own risk!

Great Company and Great Service This was our tenth move and both my wife and I agreed it was the best ever. The old pro Mick with 25 years experience certainly knew how to handle and pack everything without one scratch to anything. Young Arron was his partner in crime and both worked so hard without breaks and communicated well. The care they both showed packing everything and making sure our items were safe nothing was too much trouble. We were that impressed my son is moving just after Xmas and I booked them in straight after they finished our move. Mick has a great sense of humor with his one liners which made the day more enjoyable as well Danielle in the office was very obliging and we have already told many of our friends to use this Company without any hesitation. Our move was from Yarraville to Armstrong Creek Do yourself a favor give them a call! Many thanks Lyle and Judy

Unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. Do Not recommend using this company. I was referred to them by a family member who had a great experience. Overpriced but willing to pay as they came highly recommend. We were severely disappointed. Moving 2x house to 1x 5bdrm. was promised the biggest truck and done in 1 day. Movers turned up in the morning with a small truck and on their job sheet 2 small moves. After turning up late, they realised how much of a big job it was and didn't want to work past 5pm. They didn't even get close to finishing. Had to come back Monday as they 'don't work Sundays' and finish the job. When I spoke with the owner she was nasty, argumentative, abrupt and interrupted me constantly. We had to pay for more hours even though it was no fault to us. Damage was done to our bookcase and she refused to acknowledge the item was NOT a flat pack. insisting it was cheap and that's why it broke. if it was cheap it wouldn't weigh over 60kg. offered me a $50 discount for the damage even though the bookcase cost me over $500. Boys worked hard but the owner is terrible to deal with. Do not recommend.
