I needed a fence repair following wild winds blowing the crown off a tall gum tree and wrecking a gate and my clothes line. Barry responded promptly with a good quote and was on the job a couple of days later. I didn't replace the gate. I had it replaced with a regular section. The fence repair is excellent—I'm very happy with it. For fencing in Lilydale and surrounds I recommend B L Gale Fencing.
If I could leave zero stars I would. Fixed the fence. 2 months later one of the plinth timber pieces bowed, due to young wood apparently, after many, many texts, and avoidance of my phone calls which has lasted 17 months and counting still nothing. Refuses to come and fix this issue. Easy fix, he tells me, but no action. His response and I quote "the fence is not going anywhere". Stay away from this guy he's so unprofessional and could not give a damn. If by chance you get roped into him doing your fence, hope and pray you don't have an issue as it will never get resolved! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! Reply: Mate if the wood bowed 'OVER TIME' that is understandable, not after 2 months!!! stop making excuses!!!...
Had this guy booked to do our timber paling fence - He came past the property unannounced and whilst we weren't there. He then decides the job is too hard, but still arranged a time for the following days to come back so we can properly take him through the scope of works and plot. Never rocked up to the agreed to appointment. LOL is all we can say.
