ACT Decks

We've just had a deck and pergola completed by ACT Decks and are really happy with the whole process, and thrilled with the end result. The head of ACT Decks, Xavier, personally worked through the designs with us and was happy to alter them to suit our requirements. He also sourced an amazing cedar hot tub to build into the deck. Aaron the project manager was on site most days of the build, to check in with us and make sure everything was up to spec. The team on site was really professional, good communicators, and take obvious pride in their work - thanks Mick, Tyrone and Diego for the initial construction, and Andy, Ryan and Jane for full completion. The circular cedar hot tub was assembled by the team, and inbuilt to the deck perfectly. If any design/build challenges came up, they always consulted with us to pick the best solution, which we really appreciated. The end result is exactly what we envisaged, and we're enjoying using it.

After reading the reviews, I decided to go with this business to replace 30 square metres of decking on a property we have just moved into. I called a week ago to organize a quote. The girl who took my call didn't seem that interested, told me she would pass on my details to make a time which never happened. Looks like we'll be going with another company.

We asked them for a quote, they sent an email with a list of questions. After we provided the information, they replied telling us they don’t want to take on our job. I guess they charge their current clients enough to refuse new work. Just fyi for potential new clients.
