Concept Electrics

So happy with the work concept did on our new house. We created what we thought was a huge problem when moving in and they were able to help us out and fix it in a really timely manner. They guys that did it were neat, tidy quick and efficient. They even vacuumed up the plaster dust!! The staff at concept are friendly and kind and the work was outstanding. Will definitely use their services again. Thank you concept.

From the moment that I rang to enquire about getting a quote for some additional electrical work to my home I was impressed. At all times I was kept informed as to arrival times, costs and outcomes. Once Chris was on site to quote the job, he went above and beyond with offering some advice and other options to ensure the outcome would not only be functional but also aesthetically look great which he'd worked out was really important to me. On the day of the job I had Braden and Lachlan turn up early to completed the job. From the moment they introduced themselves to the end of the job, they couldn't be faulted in both how knowledgeable and courteous they were. The original electrician Chris also popped past a couple times during the day to ensure that everything was going ok and I was happy with the progress. They even went above and beyond in coming up with some alternatives to one of the simple jobs of the day that ended up not being as simply as planned with a positive end result in being able to get the wall neon lights to work again. They also cleaned up after themselves and even took my packaging to one the items that I'd purchased myself to be installed. Would definitely recommend Concept Electrics to anyone wishing to have electrical work done.

When looking for trades to do work in your home these days you have to be so careful. Getting 3 or 4 quotes is so time consuming. Concept Electrics was recommended to me by my daughter so I knew they'd be good. From the first phone call to make the appointment I was impressed. Chris came out to give us a quote, he gave us advice with some things we weren't sure of - plus we got a discount from a local lighting business when we mentioned Concept. Bonus! Two weeks later Nick and Mitch were at our door bang on the arranged time. The boys were extremely professional but also chilled and friendly. They removed their shoes without me having to ask them; which shows they are respectful of your home. They did a wonderful job of installing our fans and PowerPoints in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves and took the fan boxes away. Would I recommend Concept Electrics? 100% I would. Thank you to CE.

The Concept team came to install our tastic in our ensuite and they were great. They came on time, got the job done and were efficient. They were super friendly and great to work with. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for the excellent work that you guys did in firstly putting in my mums outdoor power point for her new instantaneous hot water service at my 76 years old Mothers house. Chris was substantially cheaper than another major electrician in Geelong and I was really impressed that my elderly Mother wasn’t ripped off as can occur with some unethical tradies when dealing with people of my Mothers age. I’d therefore highly recommend Chris to anyone as an honest and ethical tradie that can be trusted to do the right thing, especially when dealing with senior citizens that can be vulnerable to being exploited. I subsequently used this business to install a split system AC unit at my Mothers property last week. Braden led this job with his team and he is a very polite and considerate young guy who removed his work boots each time before entering my mothers home (at least 20 times) and he even offered to help us move the furniture back. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He did a great job and we were very happy with him and want to pass on our thanks to him. Finally we love Cara in the office, she is very friendly and great to deal with. She goes out of her way to find the perfect appointment time for you. We suggest that you ignore the negative reviews left for this business because they are an honest, friendly and hardworking team. You can’t please everyone but they work really hard in our experience to please you and they spent a lot of time cleaning up at my mothers house for her to make sure that everything was perfect for her. They even took the large cardboard packaging away that can be difficult to get rid of. Thanks Chris, Cara and Braden. You have won our business as loyal customers. Edit - have used these guys again to install a 30kg light fitting at my home. They did an amazing job as it was a tricky job. I will put some photographs on this review as this job again demonstrated to me the professionalism of this team and their nothing is too much trouble attitude to every job.

Even 1 star is pushing it.. We recently built a new home and Concept was the contracted electricians. We asked for additional work to be done direct through this company. The customer service we received was terrible, the female Office Manager was extremely rude and abrupt, when we reviewed the planned works and made notes of things that weren't correct - we were told off for "auditing their work" The fan switches we had paid for had not been installed - when I requested a refund for fan switches I was informed that they would need to do an inspection before they could refund. The email I received from Female Office Manager (copy & pasted) "Also, Our paper work reflects that the Iconic controllers were installed, and we would need to understand an inspection. " (photos attached of the wonderful iconic fan controllers that were "installed".. or lack of) I was refunded once I sent through photos and asked them to confirm they were in stock and I would come collect them (since we had paid for them 4 months prior) We supplied the fans, the fan in the master bedroom never worked. When asking about a refund for the fan due to it never working the reply was.. "For your information, on file we have noted that ‘Receiver for Fan in Master Bedroom not working’. Let client know they need a new one. Called and left message for client to call 20/4. " Phone message was never left. When I told the female office manager we would not be continuing any service through Concept Electrics, I was again told I could not be refunded until they did an inspection and that if we had another company do any maintenance it would void our electrical warranty and that all work had to be carried out by them for the next 12 months. (when all they wanted to look at was there iconic switches that they had apparently installed and fix the fan they left not working when they could have just replaced the receiver in the first place while they were still doing the electrical work in the house) overall - I wouldn't recommend Concept Electrical, I don't wish to speak to the Office Manager and her rude customer service ever again, I won't be having C.E come back to our house.

Concept Electrics have the best electricians I've had the pleasure of dealing with, they've pretty much done all the electrics in my home and I've never had an issue. I highly recommend this company and I will continue to use Concept Electrics. Thank you for your professional and friendly 5-star customer service!
