Ordered an item and was told out of stock. Offered full refund which I replied but then no contact so rang online number. Immediate response to text and then nothing. Have tried to call but no answer. I have now raised a dispute with PayPal. I understand that small businesses can be time constrained but if you read the other reviews then this attitude has happened before.
I am thoroughly disappointed with the experience I had with Electrical Lighting Solutions (ELS). On 24 September 2025, I purchased a Mercator Rider 40cm Wall Fan with Remote Control for over $100. After payment, there was no confirmation email, no dispatch details, and no communication whatsoever from the company for more than two weeks. After multiple calls, text messages, and emails with no response, I had to escalate the matter through PayPal. It was only then—after PayPal’s involvement—that the business finally took action, issuing a brief apology email on 16 October 2025 stating the item had been discontinued and a refund would be processed. This sequence of events shows a clear lack of responsibility, transparency, and basic customer service. A legitimate business should communicate delays promptly and not rely on third-party intervention to fulfill fundamental obligations. While I appreciate eventually receiving a refund, this experience highlights a company that is not operating with sound business practices or customer interest in mind. I cannot in good faith recommend Electrical Lighting Solutions (ELS) as a trustworthy or professional retailer.
No matter the size of the business or the customer, good service is essential. A professional should always treat customers with respect. Unfortunately, the attitude I experienced here was very disappointing.
Ordered a product that was the opposite of the spec (and even name) suggested it should have been. Called the mobile number on the invoice to discuss, call was cancelled and was instructed to send a text message. Did this, but no response. Called several times over the following weeks and always rings out. Had to source from a better supplier and pay for a 2nd time. Make your own mind up on what you think after sales will be like with this mob
I had great service from Sydney. Very knowledgeable and a very nice guy to deal with. Great prices and supplied me stock at very short notice. Mitchell the other team member is also a great help and the best worker.

Excellent range. Prices cheaper than Amazon and eBay with customer service who knows their stuff. Also good returns policy which lets you buy with confidence. They mailed it out straight away. Highly recommend them.
