Our experience with Advance Sawing was deeply disappointing and far below what we expected from a business that presents itself as professional. We engaged them for core drilling works and were left dealing with a range of issues that should never occur when a job is carried out properly. Once the work was completed, we discovered an extensive amount of concrete slurry, debris, and excess water left throughout the site — not just in one area, but across five service rooms and into the basement. None of this was cleaned or managed. We were forced to bring in a commercial cleaner at our own cost to restore the areas to a safe and usable condition. In addition, a wire was damaged during the drilling, which completely knocked out the lighting in the cleaners’ room downstairs. This required further electrical repairs, again at our cost. These are not minor inconveniences — these are basic oversights that should be avoided by any operator who understands the risks and responsibilities tied to this type of work. What made the situation even more concerning was the lack of proactive communication before or during the job. Industry-standard steps such as scanning, preparation to prevent falling concrete cores between levels, and proper protection to contain water and debris were not discussed with us, let alone carried out onsite. As a customer, especially one using this service for the first time, we relied on their expertise to guide us — instead, we were left to deal with preventable problems that stemmed from poor preparation and lack of care. When we approached the business to provide feedback and outline the costs we had to cover because of the mess and the damage, the response was not constructive or solution-focused. Instead of acknowledging the issues or discussing them professionally, the operators immediately shifted to talking about debt collectors — despite the fact that we never once refused to pay. This approach came across as dismissive, unprofessional, and entirely out of proportion, especially given the very real concerns we raised. Overall, the experience has been unacceptable. Based on how the work was carried out and how the feedback was handled, we cannot recommend Advance Sawing to anyone. If you are looking for a company that takes pride in its workmanship, communicates clearly, and stands behind the quality of its service, I strongly suggest using someone else. There are far better operators out there who will treat your property, your time, and your concerns with the professionalism they deserve.

Quite impressed with these guys doing some work on Epsom Road in Ascot Vale. I was walking past the site with my son, The cutting was quite loud, but respect was shown by one of the staff who directed his colleagues to turn off the cutters whilst we went past. I noticed, and appreciated. Thanks for being awesome!
