Invisible Carpet Repair

I wish i had read these reviews! I could not agree more. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The worst job i have ever seen. Originally quoted $250 to repair a 15cm x 15cm piece of carpet. When the lady arrived (not at the agreed time so I was not there) she said it "was a much a bigger job".. ok sure, what is involved?? She then said it would cost $950!!! I was rushed at work, stressed about moving out of the rental and just wanting to make sure it was fixed properly. She PROMISED it would be perfect, wouldn't even know that she had been there to repair.... well lets just say that i think my 5 year old could have done a better job! Yes, i am the idiot that in the moment agreed. But I do not know how this company can sleep at night charging these prices and doing such a dodgy job. Criminal. I have tried to call them to talk about how we can fix, or at least explain to me how/why this costed so much.. but they just hang up. Like 5 times on me today when i have call. So bad. DO NOT USE

The result was as we hoped for and the lady who repaired our carpet was really nice. However, we were quoted $250, but told when she got there that it would be $550 because she had to use new underlay. You’d think that it would be upfront on booking if there were going to be additional extras. Be warned, the cost isn’t the cost. She also didn’t clean up after herself and left the cupboard she took the carpet strip from with carpet nails pointing upwards in a house that she knew had kids in it. Just careless. Asked me if I had a lint brush to clean herself up though…

Awful experience, be warned!! I was quoted $270 for a simple (small) carpet repair. When the contractor arrived they told me it would be $500 because they needed to supply the underlay. When I questioned the exorbitant increase in price due to underlay they pressured me into agreeing to have the work done. I told them I wanted to speak with the managers in the office and they refused to let me speak with them alone, taking my phone off me and speaking in a different language to the office. I told the contractor and the person on the phone that I was unhappy with their service and would be leaving a google review, to which they laughed. Once the contractor finished the job they did not let me pay via invoice, they refused to leave my property until I had transferred the money by payID. After they finally left I noticed my bed sheets were covered in carpet glue which cannot be removed. I have tried contacting the company several times to discuss these issues but they have ignored me.

BEWARE! the end result WAS as ordered however the intimidation and aggressiveness regarding exorbitant payment ($550 after a $180 quote) left a lot to be desired. They have you over a barrel and are arrogant enough to walk out without bothering to clean their mess. Money for old rope. Frightening experience. I think I met Keyser Soze today...q

I can't thank Invisible carpet repair enough for their outstanding service. they restored my carpet to its former glory, and the results were truly invisible. If you have carpet issues, don't hesitate to call them.
