Technicool Air Conditioning

If you want to waste your time and money — Technicool Air Conditioning. Paid 14k for a multi split system. 1 compressor + 4 internal units. A team of two random contractors poorly performed installation after 4 months. The system failed twice since. Edit from 3 March 23 - reported failed system second time, technician came, literally turned it OFF and ON in the backyard, left. No changes, system doesn't work! Main internal unit doesn't blow cold air. System turns itself off. 26/03/2023 They've been here three times, each time it works a week then flashes green light, wouldn't turn on. All condensate tubes are detached and leaking into technical a/c conduits. One conduit is detached from a wall. As you can see they wouldn't even comment on this $14000 work they've done. 18/05/2023 Thank you for your answer, Brad. We emailed you and called you directly. This platform is to inform other people what service and product we got. In 2022 we found you on Daikin website as an "official retailer", that was the reason we paid for the instalaltion. If we wanted to hire a contractor for half of the price we paid, we'd go to "hipages". As to "the issue has been resolved" — unfortunately not even after 4 visits. See the photo with the watermark.

Technicool have given me great service over the years from installation of a big Daikin unit to service and maintenance. They organised a callout same day to get my air conditioning unit up and running again. Nothing was too much trouble. Karin was also amazing with her well refined organisational and communication skills. She went above my expectations in customer service. I would highly recommend Technicool for any air con needs. Called to report a technician who tailgated us through suburban Salisbury streets in the rain (while in a tray back ute), before overtaking us and trying to drift around the next corner before speeding up the next street to Thooey rd. Called the office, gave all the details, then got a return phone call asking us to send through an email with the extract same information we had already passed on. Said I don’t need to write an email, as I had given the all the info to the receptionist. Then got a return phone call from the owner, who without asking, started to record the phone call. I pointed out I was never asked if I was ok with the recording, but would go ahead anyway. Clearly employs technicians who want to drive like idiots in the rain, and then also want to record phone calls without ever asking if you’re ok with them being recorded. Pretty average/shady behaviours by all involved.

Kane provided an excellent service.He Cleaned the filters well and solved a tricky issue with noise. So I’m very happy and so grateful for his thorough workmanship. I can’t thank him enough! I would most certainly hire him again.

Kane was punctual and talked me through everything that he was doing and possible reasons why I was having issues with my split system. He diagnosed the issue and fixed it during the investigation. He was also fantastic with my dogs who were very interested in their new friend.

I was extremely satisfied with the service we received from Technicool. The installation members were hard working and efficient and I was most impressed with all of them. I highly recommend Technicool from their initial assessment to the final installation of our system.
