Visiting CFM Airsystems I have been using CFM Airsystems for the past 10 years for all my design and construction of mechanical projects in Sydney. Mark who is the owner and director of the company approached me and introduced his company to my business operation 10 years ago. From experience and from day one CFM Airsystems has always provided a prompt service from initial quotation request to receiving a detailed quotation complete with all engineering information and detailed drawings to ensure the quoted fans are suitable for my projects. Once everything is all confirmed and signed off, the actual manufacturing and delivering of equipment to sites for my projects is carried out in a seamless manner and I’m updated during the whole process . CFM Airsystems have also provided me a service to engineer and manufacture complete custom made fans for very unique requirements that I might have on projects. Collaborating with CFM Airsystems internal engineering department and in-house manufacturing department ensures the fans made to order and delivered to challenging time frames to suit project requirements. CFM Airsystems provided me all the ventilation fans for the new Silverdale Shopping Center project I was working on in Sydney. There were varied types of fans required for the Woolworth’s Super Market, to various individual shops, car park ventilation systems, which required 2000 mm diameter fans and jets fans, essential services smoke exhaust fans for various smoke zones and so on. All fans were designed and delivered and commissioned with ease from start to finish on the project. On 2nd, I had the privilege of visiting CFM Airsystems in Melbourne during a visit to Melbourne with my partner. I was genuinely impressed to see a fully operational factory proudly carrying the mark of "Made in Australia." Which is very rare now in Australia. To see the various stages of the fans being manufactured from sheetmetal being cut from laser machine, steel plate being rolled into tubes for axial fans and varies engineered mounting frames was very interesting to see. Even to see each fan being tested and balanced before it packed and being delivered. A very impressive setup and great to see a product to be Australian made. I was surprised to see CFM Airsystems also has an on site testing facility to ensure fans are engineered and tested to rigid specifications for projects. Another great service CFM Airsystems can provide to there customers I can confidently say after seeing CFM Airsystems manufacturing facility first hand, it only makes me more confident to keep using them as my number one fan supplier for my projects. I contacted CFM as their website appeared very professional. The lady who answered the phone was disinterested and unable to connect me to anyone at all who could provide very basic information. Her efforts were directed to declining to assist me and merely fobbing me off with "You need to put your enquiry into our contact form on the website". So I reluctantly took considerable time to outline my position and the assistance/products/services our company was seeking. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. No return call, no e-mail, no acknowledgement. Consequently I will never have anything to do with this arrogant and unhelpful company in future.

Be warned CFME systems will sell you the units and not warn you that they don’t sell any of the attachments you may need when installing your extraction fan. When I rang to ask where the attachments were, Michelle said we don’t sell the attachments and didn’t know where we could buy any. What is the point of selling a system and not its attachments this company needs to rethink their selling priorities, don’t just take people‘s money and not be any help or assistance to them
